In pursuit of perfecting the driving dynamics of our Mazda vehicles, we developed SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control (GVC), a new technology to help achieve a smoother and less fatiguing drive. The system works seamlessly by controlling the G-forces going through the car while in motion by shifting the gravitational forces, this lets you enjoy both city driving and twisty roads with confidence. Why do we obsess over subtle improvements? Because we believe that by refining even the smallest of details, we can make driving better.

Safe driving demands early recognition of potential hazards, good judgment and appropriate actions, and we work to support these essential functions so you can have peace of mind and confidence despite changing driving conditions. Mazda CX-3 is well-equipped to be driven with full confidence. Collision protection is world-class, thanks to a highly rigid SKYACTIV-BODY integrating multiple SRS airbags for maximum safety.

SRS AIRBAGES

Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

SRS airbag systems aim to improve safety by working in conjunction with a seatbelt to minimize impact to occupants in a collision. The front airbags for the driver's seat and passenger's seat deploy when a moderate or severe frontal impact is detected, mitigate impact to the head and chest.

Hill Launch Assist (HLA)

Hill Launch Assist (HLA)

Hill Launch Assist (HLA) helps the driver take-off smoothly when stopped on a slope. When taking off on an slope, this function helps prevent the car from rolling backwards when the driver moves his or her foot from the brake to the accelerator pedal by maintaining an automatic brake. On gentle slopes the automatic brake releases immediately when the accelerator is pressed to ensure a smooth start. On steeper slopes the brake is released after sufficient torque has been generated. The system operates automatically when stopped on a slope so the driver can take off smoothly and safely without making any special effort.

Emergency Signal System (ESS)

Emergency Signal System (ESS)

The Emergency Signal System (ESS) causes the hazard lights to flash at high speed if the driver suddenly brakes when traveling at high speed. This helps prevent collisions by warning following vehicles that the car is braking hard. If the vehicle comes to a complete stop, the hazard lights switch to a normal flashing speed to help prevent rear-end collisions.

Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)

BSM alert drivers of the presence of vehicles approaching from behind and in the adjacent lane on either side by displaying an icon in the appropriate door mirror.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)

RCTA uses radar sensors to alert the driver when it detects vehicles approaching from either side during reversing operations.

Mazda CX-3’s interior is filled with finely-crafted details – inviting soft materials; metallic finished parts; stylish trim. It is designed around you, the ideal driving position makes you feel connected with the car, giving you a commanding view of the road ahead and a reassuring feel of stability through the corners.

The seats are wrapped in leather with good ergonomics whilst the spacious cabin offers a plush and comfortable drive. The Human Machine Interface (HMI) with MZD CONNECT is designed to enhance the in-vehicle connectivity experience with minimal distraction from driving.

Driver’s physical stress is reduced as eyes and hands movement are minimized with the Active Driving Display mounted above the meter hood and the convenient steering wheel with mounted switches and paddle shifters.
